On select week days, three hours have been set aside for up to 10 individuals at a time to rest in this nurturing environment. Make this a part of your wellness routine. Although it is absolutely free, space is limited to 10 people, so reserving your spot in advance is required. RSVP Now. For everyone’s safety, everyone coming into the space is required to bring a copy of their vaccination card or upload it online prior to their initial visit, so we may have a copy for our files. AA Meditation Meeting

This AA Meditation Meeting is a confidential 11th step meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous. It is an open meeting; all may attend. The 11th step states, “we sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood it, praying only for knowledge of its will for us and the power to carry that out.” This meeting does NOT promote any one form of meditation over another. We have NO opinions on religious or spiritual practices. The meeting starts with 20 minutes of silent meditation followed by a short reading that pertains to the 11th step. The focus of this meeting is to develop and strengthen a personal spiritual practice that grounds one to a path of recovery and deepens one’s connection to a higher power, whatever that may be. Drop-in. Space is limited to the first 10 people. Masks, COVID Screening and Proof of COVID Vaccinations are required.

This stress-relieving practice is offered fully clothed and involves slow compressions on the muscles inviting the body into a deeply relaxed state. The use of energy work and vibrational tones also invites restorative balance.

Soul Touch Bodywork

Experience renewed wellbeing through ancient techniques of healing customized for each individual’s special issues. KK creates sessions suited to your therapeutic goals, such as: relaxing tension, relieving muscle pain, improving sleep, enhancing health resilience, supporting addiction recovery, moving beyond trauma and working with transitional moments in life.

Meditation Basics

Quieting the thinking mind helps us to increase our capacity for focus, awareness and understanding self and the world around us. There are many methods of meditation. This session is for the absolute beginner. Come with an open mind and curiosity.

MiniJourney

Whether for deep relaxation and stress reduction, or to learn the fundamentals of breathwork healing journeying, this MiniJourney is a good starting place. Music is used to support this session.

RhythmRoom

Playful and profound, RhythmRoom (R2) can be a fun family “pod” virtual adventure for a friend or family or as a unique one-on-one adventure with KK as your guide. We create rhythms with found instruments in the home and explore rhythms within the body. It is a joy to learn how to connect without words.

Trauma-Centered MicroMovement

Heighten your senses, understand the subtle body or enhance healing from a surgery or trauma. Trauma-Centered MicroMovement is highly effective. Body awareness through the healing potential of vibration and slow expansion / contraction inform the process. All movement is extremely gentle. Each session is personalized to individual client needs and goals. Music is used to support this session. Medical approval may be necessary for some.

Voice Release

You have a voice that is uniquely yours. Use it for self-awareness, healing and empowerment! You do not need to be a singer to do this. Be curious. From the slightest whisper to the largest sound, you can shift your mood and increase your confidence.

Lincoln Scott has been facilitating breathwork retreats for the past fifteen years and concurrently studying with Natalie Goldberg, the Zen Buddhist creative writing teacher. He has been teaching writing practice to the breathwork community for the last ten years, and he presently leads writing practice and its various applications to groups locally and virtually via Zoom.

Lincoln has applied the practice directly to integrative work with enhanced states of consciousness via Grof® Breathwork or plant medicines. James Pennebaker’s clinical research at the University of Texas at Austin has clearly demonstrated the therapeutic value and overall general improvements in both mental and physical health using writing to explore and face emotional upheavals, deep psyche material or distressing events.

This 4-week series is rich and experiential in nature. You will have many opportunities to access deep insight into the efficacy of the practice, as well as reveal personal surprise and delight. You will come away with solid confidence in using this very simple practice in a therapeutic way for yourself and for others with whom you may want to share.

Aside from his passion for teaching writing practice, Lincoln manages a residential remodeling business and is currently working on his masters degree in counseling.

Candlelight Sound Sanctuary is a creation of Kirsten Kairos “KK”, visionary founder of LightHorse Wellness. Previously she offered her two-hour movement and relaxation music program Gila Groove and the monthly Native radio show, Mountain Spirit Radio. She is a Sound Medicine Guide, nationally recognized Voice Over talent, Musician, Writer, Producer and guide for healing, integration, and transformation.
